Prague

So I have come to the last of my Prague posts, for this trip we got an absolute bargain from British Airways, £99 for 2 nights in a three star hotel and return flights from London. If you after cheap city breaks keep an eye on that part of the BA website, and keep signed up to emails to be notified of sales. It was one of those we booked within about 5 minutes of the email coming through so pretty spontaneous! Prague has loooooonggggg been on my list, in fact back in 2015 I had hoped to visit,  but alas it took me a tad longer to get there.

Prague was just as expected, colourful old buildings, cute squares, cheap food and the perfect walking city. We walked all day everyday and it was just lovely!!! No crazy stories or nights out just a proper tourist trip exploring markets, viewpoints and watching the world go by.

In terms of highlights and tips, the main thing is to just walk everywhere!! Go down the little streets and just get lost in the old town. Cross the river over Charles Bridge and be sure to visit the John Lennon Wall.

If you want a nice restaurant, Cafe Imperial certainly comes with my seal of approval (if that means anything). It had an art decor interior, the friendliest of staff, the most beautiful food and delicious (very very cheap) wine. We had such a lovely evening there as I am sure you would too.

On the flip side the street food was just yummmmm, safe to say we snacked ALOT.

Sometimes hyped cities can disappoint but Prague really didn't - perhaps the beautiful winter sunshine helped too !
